Biography
My name is Grace Horan I am currently attending Limerick School of Art & Design, Limerick Institute of Technology, in my fourth year studying for a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Fashion Design (Level 8). Since a young age I've loved Fashion, I am interested in all aspects of Fashion and look forward to a career in the industry.
Previously in 2008 I completed a FETAC Level 4 Fashion Styling and Retail Studies course in Limerick College of Further Education, the modules included : Fashion Styling, Trend Forecasting, Story/Mood Boards, Photography and Retail Display. I have recently completed four months interning for fashion designer Krizia Robustella in Barcelona, Spain, where I gained invaluable experience in working within a design team.
On my BA Fashion course this year the focus is on projects that allow us to discover our own particular creative direction and areas of interest, while still progressing in Fashion Design, Pattern Cutting, Knitwear Construction and Garment Construction. We are also required to create our own collection which will be showcased in a Degree Fashion Show at the end of the year.
